The success of an EPC projects depends heavily on the EPC contractor’s ability to efficiently manage the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction processes to build the project on-time, in-budget and within the agreed project parameters.
To successfully address these challenges, the EPC contractor must integrate multiple data flows from various project collaborators, which all too often are not easily compatible, across the entire project life cycle.
X4D is a software platform which provides such integration and enables an EPC contractor to scrutinize how everything fits together: from planning, detailed engineering, fabrication, construction to operation of the asset.
In particular, the X4D platform simplifies the information flow from engineering to construction. It enables the user to monitor the project execution baseline plan with the actual field progress data using 3D visualization (system agnostic) and drives (real-time) collaboration in a database driven environment.
X4D Core maintains the Master Tag Registry along with all Tag Attributes. X4D Core module synchronizes Tags across 1D Tag List, 2D drawings, 3D Model and 4D Construction and progressing. The Consolidated Data is used to create Advanced Work Packages, Progressing and Preservation Activities. X4D Completion creates Systems in 3D from X4D Systems Module, and provides interface for creating Punch Lists and Test documents.
X4D Systems Module is used to mark Commissioning, Hydrotest or Turnover systems on 2D drawings. As the Systems are marked in 2D, System-Tag information is picked up Automatically. On Publishing, the Systems are Automatically Transferred to X4D Core and can be managed in 3D along with Test Documents and Punch List Management.
X4D Data Import allows creation of Discipline wise Tag Patterns. These Tag Patterns are then used to Scrap Tags from all Engineering Data Resources (1D/2D/3D/4D) which are fed to X4d Core for an Integrated working Environment.
X4D Replicator allows creation of Multiple Rulesets and Rules to allow Replication of Project Documents in Excel, Word, PDF as well as Scanned PDF formats. The Rules can be selectively applied to different sets of Drawing and documents. X4D Replicator can be used along with X4D Core Module to replicate 3D Models as well.
